Demarcus Ware and Cowboys at a Standoff

                            

 The Dallas Cowboys and Demarcus Ware are coming to an odds end. The 32 year old pass rusher is coming off his first injury riddled season with a cap figure of 13.5 million. As good as Demarcus Ware still is, he's not worth that kind of money. However the Cowboys are in a difficult position if they have to let Ware go. They're not exactly known for strong defense and taking away your biggest play maker on defense doesn't exactly helps matters.

  Still, Demarcus Ware needs to work with the Cowboys front office if he expects to stay. At his age his window for a Superbowl is closing. He hasn't exactly been underpaid throughout his career either. He's still worth 6-7 million a year in my opinion. The Cowboys have a lot of issues to address with or without Ware. However knowing Demarcus Ware will be around with a lower cap figure would make everyone in Jerry's world happy.
